Josh Finklea has been a
Pastor since 1989 and has
a huge passion for the lost.
Josh’s life started on a rough
road. He was born deaf and
his father left. After several surgeries he
received his hearing, but
used it to listen to the world. He experimented
with drugs and other things, and hit rock
bottom at the age of 17 after committing
his second felony. It was then Josh wept,
and prayed to an “unknown” God. Josh
found love and purpose through Jesus
Christ, and now takes that message to the world.
Everyday Sunday began in it's hometown of Columbus, Ohio during youth group days and offers up
superbly crafted songs that are simple lyrically and complex musically with arrangements that are
often epic in nature. They create a power-pop, pop-punk project of enormous energy that at the
same time is fun, hooky, catchy and filled with big melodies. Everyday Sunday is made up of Trey
Pearson (lead vocals), Dan Hunter (bass), Chris Hines (drums) and Jesse Counts (guitar). If
everybody's Sunday was was like Everyday Sunday, more people might want to go to church.
Korah's Thirst is a "Hard Worship" band from Sheboygan County,
Wisconsin. Combining a hard rock sound with modern worship elements,
their songs range from the pounding guitar and screaming vocals of "You
Are God", to the thoughtful lyrics and beautiful melody of "Be Still And
Know". Korah's Thirst's mission is to bring people into God's presence
with music that is both energetic and uplifting.
The name "Korah's Thirst" is taken from Psalm 42:1-2. "To the Chief
Musician. A Contemplation of the sons of Korah. As the deer pants for
the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for
God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?" -New
