THIS YEARS EVENT

HAS BEEN CANCELLED

"You're not alone in your faith"

Acts 2, 12, 17

Christ's Shore is proud to present its fourth conference and hopes this one will be an event you and your friends and family will remember for many years to come.  The event is well suited for families, youth groups or individuals and is designed for people ages 11 to 111.  This event promises to uplift the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, encourage you to feel more comfortable with your faith in Christ, and present the gospel in a culturally relevant way. The day will be broken into three smaller sessions. Each session will consist of inspirational speaking from Jason McCloud. You can also expect contemporary worship music from our house band and small group discussions. There are two dinner breaks where we will be serving pizza and subs along with chips, baked goods and beverages. Also included during these breaks will be physical activities or rest areas to keep everyone entertained. There is sure to be something for everyone. The day ends with a concert from Fireflight. You surely don't want to miss this God-inspired event!

Dynamic Speaker

When Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Ga. decided to make a movie, Jason McLeod landed the part of Brock Kelley in the now widely-distributed Christian movie Facing the Giants. Better known as "the kid who did the death crawl" Jason shares a powerful testimony of how his life was parallel with that of his character Brock. God used the movie in Jason's life to show him how he was living a life of mediocrity as a teenager.
Jason has a unique gift of connecting with audiences of all ages due to his unbelievable energy and excitement for the Lord! He is on fire for God and desires for everyone else to be as well. Jason is finishing his communications arts degree at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.

Awesome Music

Premiere modern rock band Fireflight received its first career GRAMMY nomination in December, with its third studio album "For Those Who Wait" announced in the Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album category. The band's awareness of God’s magnificence amidst personal weakness is a defining trait for Fireflight. It not only frames the band’s songwriting, it empowers Fireflight’s rejection of “rock star” entitlement and enables genuine relationships between the group and countless fans.
“We work collectively as a band to answer every MySpace and ShoutLife question we get,” says the lead singer. “We believe first and foremost the Christian faith is relational. We try to show people God’s love, and you just can’t do that unless you care about them.” This manifests itself most directly as the band proactively interacts and prays with fans who “need to talk” after concerts.
